Saturday, April 16th - Hand on New York, 9:30am - 3:00pm.  It has been announced at the ASID meetings that we are volunteering as a group for Hands on New York Day through New York Cares.  It is an incredible way to give back to the community through this day of service. Volunteers will rake and clean debris, plant, mulch, paint fences and benches, and more. It's a great day out, and great way to make the Big Apple shine!  Our goal is to have 10 people sign up for this event...and we are well on our way!  It costs $10 to volunteer, which goes towards the supplies and fundraising for the event.  Instructor and Faculty Advisor Bill Gates has donated $10 towards this event for us, which we will be raffling off to everyone who signs up so there is a chance for a FREE registration.  If you are interested, please contact either myself at amwinokur@gmail.com or Secretary and Event Chair, Renee Martinez at reneeniella@gmail.com.
